Fidelis SecureCare and the Fidelis SecureLife MI Health Link plans are changing names to become Michigan Complete Health in April 2017. The plan name and logo are the only things that are changing, and both current and future enrollees can expect the same benefits and services as the current Fidelis plan. Members will keep their same doctors and do not have to take any extra steps to stay enrolled in the plan. Beneficiaries should receive new member ID cards in April.
The state has added an official announcement for the MI Health Link Ombudsman. You can view the press release here.
A new wave of passive (automatic) enrollments are set to begin on June 1, 2016, and will affect many newly dual-eligible individuals throughout the state. Enrollees should receive their 60-day enrollment letters starting on April 1, 2016 and a 30-day letter on May 1. These letters will assign a health plan, and if enrollees do not opt out and disenroll, enrollment into the new plan will go into effect on June 1. Enrollees can disenroll by contacting Michigan ENROLLS at 1-800-975-7630 -- Monday through Friday 8AM-7PM ET.
UPDATE - The Wayne Forum has been moved to 2pm. See details below.
There will be a forum in both Wayne and Macomb counties on May 5, 2016. MI Health Link enrollees and potential enrollees, as well as families, friends, advocates, allies, and other interested parties are encouraged to attend. The forum will provide information and answer questions about the new MI Health Link program, and attendees will be able to discuss the program with members of the state.
